3 Weekly Design Tips
1 - Gradients
Colour gradients are still a great way to achieve a cool & futuristic feel of an interface or web object. There are 4 types of gradients :
Linear gradients
Radial gradients
Angular gradients
Diamond gradients
For gradients, choose neighbouring colours in the colour wheel to preserve the nature fo the colours. Avoid opposite colours.Setting the start & the end of the colour transition should not be close to each other to achieve a smooth gradient.Don’t use too much colour: I usually don’t go beyond 2-3 colours for a single gradient.Resources:

Shape Branding.
This week we’ll take a look at a branding approach called Shape Branding. In brand design, you can use the characteristic shapes from your logo as motifs throughout the brand. As an example, the Kreate brand design takes a circle and arc shape from the Kreate logotype and applies it rhythmically to business cards, posters, and more.Brand recognition is enhanced by repetition of shapes. The shapes will make you think "Kreate" every time you see them!
